Cod Liver Oil

The Cod Liver Oil used in Seven Seas products is sourced from cod caught in regulated Icelandic and Norwegian fisheries. We do not source from the North Sea.

These fisheries are controlled and monitored by the Icelandic and Norwegian governments. Both governments undertake annual monitoring of Cod stocks, and adjust and enforce quotas accordingly.

As a business we have very long standing supplier relationships and ensure that our suppliers act responsibily and comply with the above quotas.

Fish Oil

The Fish Oils used in Seven Seas products are mainly sourced from fish caught off the coast of South America, most particularly Peru. Again, the fisheries are controlled and monitored by the Peruvian government, who undertake regular scientific surveys of Fish stocks, and adjust and enforce quotas accordingly.
